Overview
MedBeat is an mobile application concept that is meant to help transfer students with their anxiety and depression throughout their transfer journey using music and AI to create personalized playlists
Brainstorming
During this stage, the group collaborated to come up with the different websites that we wanted to consider with our redesign before we narrowed down to WebReg. Once we determined to focus on WebReg, we then started to consider some of the main issues that might appear and that we want to focus on.
Surveying
The group created a survey to see what transfer students mainly use music for and what kind of emotions that they go through when they are preparing for transfer and/or after they already transfered. These responses were then analyzed to see the commonalities that would make up the main points that we would focus on.

Once we determined the main ideas that we needed to focus on, we created personas to help better understand the kind of users that we would be encountering.

Prototype
After analyzing the survey results and creating the personas, we create a low-fi and hi-fi mockup of what the application would look like. This was then used in interviews with users to see what works and what needed to be altered to best suit what our population needed.
Final Report
At the end, our group compiled the research that we have done as well as the work that we have done throughout the quarter. The final report can be found here.
